How do you fit into this church? Just think about that question for a minute. You can think about the answer too, but think about the question. For some, that question generates an emotional response because you feel you don’t fit in.
“How do I fit in?”
When you think about the question more than the answer, what does it mean? Perhaps it means, “Have I found friends here?” Have people made an effort with me? Have my needs been met?
Or…
Maybe it means is there a role for me? Am I needed? Have I been invited to help out?
Or…
Is what I am doing recognized or talked about as if it’s important.
How do you fit in?
