Sermon Feedback on Twitter

Sunday 3rd, July

posted by: David Smith

Here’s something new: We’re trying out using Twitter to get some feedback on our sermons. During a message, some people would love to jump up and say, “Hey, what about…” but in the context of a sermon you may feel a little inhibited (not to mention the preacher’s reaction!)

But now you can pass your comments along to the preacher, and to others as the sermon is going.  I won’t be checking my phone as I preach, but I will afterwards, and will respond as best as I can.
Just include the #parkbc hashtag in your tweets. And you can follow me as well! @David_G_Smith

I looked at the church homepage and I get confused as a cant follow the thread of the discussion , and I think to my self why bother , tweet verse as they call it , how to read the tweet is a skill that needs to be taught i think. I have found on facebook that discussions dont last more than a few days then they get lost down the page and then they are gone to history , so you have to act fast to be in the action , not left behind

bye for now

Yes, that’s true. Twitter conversation is quite different to Facebook. Especially if you’re only seeing one side of it.  Twitter seems to be shorter, less detailed? Maybe that’s where knowledge is heading?
