We had a celebration in our home, where we read the final New Testament reading together, and then gave each other high fives! We started at the beginning of May and read about 12-14 OT chapters and 2-4 NT chapters per day. Of the 15 or so finishers, everyone of them was able to describe significant changes in their life as a result of this challenge.
Here are some of the comments:

“The Old Testament violence made more sense after reading the whole Bible”
“Familiar verses in unfamiliar contexts (Eg. Jer 29:11) came to life”
“The Bible is such an amazing precious gift and I can’t believe it just sat there for so long”
“I am so hungry for more”
“Some parts of it were so boring! But others came to life”
“There’s a few books I want to go back and read again”
