Parkside Youth is a place for high schoolers to hang out, learn more about God, and have a ton of fun.
Our youth group is a space for young people aged from Year 7 - Year 12 (high school) to come and have fun together in a safe environment. Our aim is to create a caring and safe community where young people can be themselves, feel as though they belong, and explore life in a fun way. From art attack nights to life-sized foozball, from chilled beach nights to slip ’n’ slide baseball, our youth are guaranteed to have a great night!
After the crazy activities one of the youth leaders shares a short devotion and then the youth spend some time in a small group, talking about any questions they had from the devotion. The youth group is attended by both Christian and non-Christian young people, and while we do talk about God and faith, we do not expect any young person to hold the same beliefs.
Veg is a program for youth to engage in on Sunday mornings during the church service, which allows young people to discuss questions of God, faith and life in a safe environment.
On the second Sunday of every month the Youth have a chance to serve the Parkside Baptist community by facilitating the worship service.
