Parkside is a place for youth and young adults to connect in community, explore what it means to follow Jesus, and have a lot of fun. 

Youth Group

Our youth group is a space for young people aged from Year 7 - Year 12 (high school) to come and have fun together in a safe environment. Our aim is to create a caring and safe community where young people can be themselves, belong, and explore life in a fun way.

After the night’s fun activities one of the leaders usually shares a short devotion and then the youth spend some time in a small group, talking about any questions they had from the devotion. The youth group is open to both Christian and non-Christian young people, although we do talk about Jesus and faith.

Young Adults

Our young adults meet fortnightly on Sunday nights with a meal, activities, and shared faith input. It is a space for anyone who is looking for authentic community around following Jesus. Our YA age range is 18-30 year old people

VEG

Veg is a program for high school age youth to engage in on Sunday mornings in school term time during the second half of the church service. Various parts of the Bible or Christian faith are explored which allows young people to discuss questions of God and life in a safe environment. 

Youth Serving Parkside (YSP) Service

On the second Sunday of every month the Youth have a chance to serve the Parkside Baptist community by facilitating the worship service. 

Payment

With few exceptions, every Friday night event costs $5 per student, payable by cash or card. Advance (or retroactive) payments can also be transferred via EFT to the below bank account. Note this account is for PBC Youth Ministry payments only.
